Teething totally can cause a fever AND diarhea(?) too! They say that it doesn’t…bologna. Maybe she’s cutting some molars..? Or just has a virus that’s running it’s course. I hope she’s all mended by now!

My heart hurt for both of you while reading this.

You’re right, it’s NOT okay.

Morgan ran a higher-ish fever for 3 days when she was teething. I know doctors say teething doesn’t cause fevers, but to that I say BITE IT!!

I would totally get in my car, drive down to you and do what I could to help if you wanted me to.

Oh I am so sorry. Poor little girl! (and Mommy!) It sucks so much when they’re not feeling well, and adding the Mommy Guilt on top of it… horrible. And I contract too, so I KNOW how bad it sucks to not have anyone to hand off work to when it happens.

Keep in mind that kids get fevers VERY easily, so maybe it’s just something mundane (teeth perhaps? I know drs swear it doesn’t cause fevers, but I THINK THEY LIEEEEE!!) This is when Talking comes in handy with the kids- when they’re babies, it’s so hard to know what’s wrong if they can’t tell you where it hurts

Hang in there girl. I hope you get some answers soon (or, even more than that- she gets BETTER!)

Something is definitely going on there! Hang in there, hopefully they will find out what is causing it quickly. And I think it was a smart move switching docs.
