You have just taken the words from my mouth. Our house is in the market and we have been dealing with the same crap. We ask for an hour's notice and I am lucky if I get 20 minutes and then after running around like a mad woman picking p toys, cleaning, and getting too kids out of the house they either cancel, reschedule, or don't just show up or if they do don't sign in or leave a card.

oh man. I KNOW. We had a few no-shows while our house was on the market, SO ANNOYING. We also had one showing that was scheduled for 5:15-6:15pm. We came back to the house at almost 7pm, thinking that was PLENTY of time. Sure enough, as soon as we settled back into the house and our daughter pulled out some of her toys... *KNOCK KNOCK* HI WE'RE HERE NOW! They insisted they were only 15 minutes late, so whatever... somebody mis-communicated to me, then. So we hurried to throw the toys in the closet and headed out for a walk around the neighborhood. After we just spent 2 hours out of the house for dinner. Thank goodness it wasn't raining! (and of COURSE they didn't like the house. WHATEVER.)

I hope you sell yours quick. We were only on the market for 4 weeks and MY LORD it felt like an eternity.

I *hated* the house-selling process. So many rules. And the woman who showed the house would just show up, NO warning *ever* and ask us to leave. Once I was in the shower. Another time we were just sitting down to eat. She eventually got the job done, but I have never felt so violated in my whole life.

Haven't been 'there' in years and really have nothing to share on the subject matter ... only to say that I only WISH I was as good a writer as you are. :cry:

Well stated! {mwah!}
