Breaking Out The Bullets
I have to. I’m sorry. I’m like only the World’s Worst Blogger, but OMG, I’m in so much pain that I can’t bear to string coherent thoughts together.
- Our short little vacation was awesome! We had a great time even though it felt like mere hours. I slept like a rock both nights we were there both due to the gigantic bathtub getting me uber relaxed in mere moments and the comfy comfy bed. There are some photos here, but not as many as our usual trips. Not sure why…
- I’m extremely thankful for the girl that works at City Sports on Boylston. She re-laced my New Balance sneakers so that they’re not using the N-Lock feature and now my fat feet fit quite comfortably in them! So if any of you pregnant people are wearing New Balance with N-Lock, lace them without the N-Lock loops and you will be endlessly grateful. Trust me.
- Since our trip home, which we made in 2 hrs and 15 minutes withOUT stopping to pee (hold your applause), I’ve had this solid, annoying pain in the middle of my back. It’s right at my bra line. It does NOT go away. Not with a changing of position, not with laying down, not with heat, not with ice. It just hurts. To the point of tears. I don’t know if this is baby related or if I pulled something or if I have another slipped disc, but people, I am DYING. And I don’t think I’m allowed to take muscle relaxers.
- Sox/Yankees split. Fine. Whatever. I hate Lugo.
- If you ever get the opportunity to go to the fireworks in Boston on 4th of July, GO. Because it’s a once in a lifetime experience. It was awesome. But I can promise you we’ll never do it again.
- Coming home a day early to relax and gear up for the week was the best idea. While sad we didn’t get to really maximize our time away like we have in the past, this made the most sense. Sometimes we can just be wicked smaht.
There’s the trip re-cap. And if anyone has any suggestions for making my back feel better, I’m all ears. I’m one whiney, pregnant, hawt mess.

Ouch that sounds painful. Hope you’ll be feeling better soon. Sounds like you had a wonderful weekend otherwise.

I don’t know what to tell you that will make it go away, but rest assure you’re not alone! It is the WORST annoying pain you’ll ever experience…while pregnant. It’s right between your shoulder blades and you feel like you just want to lay on a tennis ball and “pop” it or something, right? Basically there’s not much relief. It’s the weight of the baby bellah pulling down on your back AND you sit at a computer for work so having your arms in the forward typing position doesn’t help either. Sometimes gas pain can end up in your back too, but that’s usually lower and more jabby. So you wear one of those belly supporter things? I never did, all 60+ extra lbs of weight (I should have), but I’ve heard that can help relieve some of the pressure from the weight pulling down. Soon, it will all be relief

I haven’t been to your blog in such a long time…so busy with work, toddlers and being pregnant myself! I am very excited for you, and sorry about the feet and the back pain. When is your due date? Mine is TODAY – but no labor in sight, *sigh*. I am ready to kill somebody if this baby isn’t born soon….but I am doing my best not to be negative…
I am wishing you all the best for swift relief and an easy labor and delivery!

Not sure if you have ever tried Chiropractic, but lately I am a huge fan! I don’t know if I would be able to make it through this pregnancy without my weekly Chiropractor visit! Don’t get me wrong – I’m still in pain, but it’s sooo much better after I go… wish I could go more!
