Liars
I was reading on BabyCenter.com today how some pregnant woman at this stage really start to feel the strain of being pregnant. They feel unattractive (check), fat (check), and tired (check, check).
The advice was to enjoy the beauty features that pregnancy does bring us – specifically the thicker, fuller hair and long, strong fingernails.
About an hour after reading that, I broke three nails and realized my hair looks like shit.
I think I got the short end of this stick.

You are pretty, pregnant NOT fat. I’m amazed you have nails to begin with and they aren’t chewed to a bloody nub….Tired…i’ll give you that one.
Hang in there Mommy!

As the FH would say “I stopped reading BabyCenter when that 2nd Inning (Trimester isn’t a word he remembers) Sex Spurt failed to show.”

Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand CUE trip to the salon!
I go every two-three weeks for my nails, waxing, and pedicure. My hair, scalp, nails, etc. fall to shit when I am pregnant. So I fake it!
It helps!

You’re not fat, you’re pregnant. And you’re allowed to be tired — you’re making a human!! I have heard though that baby girls suck the life out of your nails & hair while baby boys make it flourish… Hmmm. Tell Blinkie to play nicely with Momma!

My nails rocked but my hair got kinda blah. Then near the end it got very straw-like. Now my hair is awesome (even though it just started falling out. Whee!).
And there’s no way for you to fully Get It at the moment, but please enjoy your sleep now even though you probably feel uncomfortable and have to get up to pee a lot. You’re a million times more rested than me, and for that I am envious.
