It’s A Girl!
The majority guessed wrong! Blinkie’s a girl! Pink paint! Pink clothes! Dresses! Dollies! Tea Parties! AHHHH! I’m so so thrilled. And the best part of the news is that she’s totally healthy. The Level II Ultrasound went really well. The high-risk doctor that saw us was terrific. He checked everything. We saw every part under extreme scrutiny. Little fingers, little toes. Her lips, her chin (which is pointy just like mine), her nose. It was awesome!
We got to see her move her arms and legs and it was really cool to see her move AND feel the kicks at the same time. It totally helped me visualize what was going on inside every time I felt her move today! The cutest thing ever was how she sucked on her fingers. Just like Momma! My hands are always in my mouth. It drives my mother crazy!
Some stats. She’s measuring a little ahead of schedule. Enough to bump up my due date a little to August 18, but they can move that back the other way just as easily. She has a big buddah belly already. The belly alone is what’s pushing the due date up! She weighs about 12 oz which EHH pointed out is as much as a can of soda.
Without further interruption, for your viewing pleasure, here she is. Our little girl. And don’t even ask about her name. SOMETHING has to be a surprise!
