Best Thing I Ever Did

Filed under: In Short — Posted by Pocklock at 7:33 pm on Tuesday, February 19, 2008

I bit the bullet and bought full price maternity jeans at Gap.com. I had ordered them last week and they were waiting on my steps when I got home tonight.

I couldn’t try them on fast enough. I mean, today I actually wore Yoga pants to work because nothing. Else. Fits. And the stuff that does fit I’m so sick of already! I put the jeans on and they are AWESOME. They fit perfect, they have just the right amount of stretch and I totally don’t have to wear them with my Tummy Tube or wait to grow into them. I can wear them TOMORROW! I can wear JEANS! WAHOO!

I had also bought two sweaters, but they don’t fit that well. However, they’re nice and they were on sale so they will get filed for the next time I’m pregnant in the winter.

WAHOO! Jeans! Tomorrow!

Moral: Suck it up for full price stuff that won’t go out of style. I think I’m gonna do this pregnancy thing more than once.

Can’t bring myself to pay full price…just can’t do it. Sigh…it sucks being frugal!
