07: I’m So Vain, I Bet You That This Post Is About Me
Out of the blue clear sky I decided I wanted to be a total ham today and let CC take photos of me in the local Starbucks. There may or may not have been a reason for this. I will not say except that it’s no big deal. But CC was a trooper and came through in the clutch with some awesome photos. Dizzle went along for moral support and also for crowd control (and got a couple snaps of himself taken that I will keep for blackmail purposes, thankyouverymuch!). At one point he announced there was “Nothing to see here! Keep moving, People!” Of course this announcement yielded the exact opposite result.
Anyway, we had a great time. It was a lunch break well spent and sponsored by much needed caffeine. laughter, and happiness. Below are just some of the photos we took. You can see some more of CC’s work on her flickr site and you can read her blog here.
You will notice that the “copper and blonde” that I supposedly got put into my hair yesterday is completely unnoticeable.
I will resist the urge to caption them… though, man, that’s REALLY freaking hard! I will however issue the following two statements:
1) We were all totally sober.
B) It felt really good to laugh like that.

You’re such a rock star with those shades!
Hey, keep on walking people… there’s nothing to see here!!!

It was super fun. We may have to do a weekly trip to the Starbucks and create a new flickr group for such occassion. What will be really great is when I upload the photo you took of that lady in the crazy ass outfit. It will be like Glamour’s Do and Don’ts Straight from the RB Starbucks.
